                            Thesis: Don’t be any longer deceived!

 

Today, we live in a world in which only a few people still hold to or

believe in absolute Truth. The new philosophy over tolerance proclaims

every idea anyone has as truth for him or her. This also has come to be

believed when it comes to the faith, the Truth of the Word of God. In a

situation like this, it is very easy for a person, especially for young people, to

follow a way that misleads or deceives them.

 

Adam and Eve, the very first two human beings, lived with God in the

Garden of  Eden, in Paradise. He had given them every fruit to eat but one,

the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We read: “And the

Lord God commanded the man, “you are free to eat from any tree in the

garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

for when you eat of it you will surely die.” (Gen. 2:16,17)

 

Adam and Eve, in their discussion with the serpent,  Satan, admitted

that they had understood God’s command about a certain tree. But when

they began, under the influence of Satan, to doubt the command and will of

God, they opened themselves up to the deception of the evil One. He didn’t

force them to do it. They decided that for themselves, especially Eve.

(Please read Gen. 3:1-6) So it is with every person today who doubts God’s

commands and instructions. This has happened to the Catholic, the Lutheran

and other denominations when their leadership doubted the Word of God and

followed the deceptions of Satan. Satan made them feel good and proud just

like he did Eve. (Gen. 3:6) Today he has those denominations so strongly

under his dominion, it will be very hard for any of you, dear Reader, to escape

his power. But it can be done completely  with the help of Jesus and your

faith in Him. For that reason it is most important that you inform yourself

over the beginning and foundation of the Lord’s Church.. Don’t be any

longer deceived by them!  Be free in Christ! (See Lessons # 27 and # 29)

 

People are often able and willing to help Satan’s deception!

 

My father wrote from a French prisoner of war camp. He had been

placed there after his capture in 1945.

Dear most beloved mother! (His wife, my mother) My much, much

loved children!

    At the end of the terrible happenings of the past years, I am in a French

prisoner of war camp. From all that I have experienced I can see clearly now,

that our nation had become a victim of unscrupulous and mad leadership.

 

My mother Luise, who kept a diary on the empty pages in the back of

our family Bible wrote:

                                                   Bretten,   1944

 

On July of this year cowardly murderous hands tried to kill our beloved

Führer (leader) Adolf  Hitler. However they did not succeed, because God

was with him or he wouldn’t be here anymore now.

In 1945 she put lines through that statement and wrote: All were lies

and deceptions. It’s hard to believe, that the men, who wanted to be our lea-

ders had sunk so deep and didn’t have a spark of conscience left in them. Our

poor nation has to suffer for it now because it believed to be told the truth.

 

When all of us, dear German speaking readers, at the end of our lives,

stand before the Judgment seat of Christ, it will be to late to find out if the

churches, we were joined to in infancy, were churches whose faith was accor-

ding to the will of God or not. It will then be to late to flee the wrath of God

or eternal life in Hell.

 

         Therefore: “ Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts..”
